A cup of tea and a slice of cake

After the success of our pilot coffee morning in Westminster, we have decided to offer two more coffee mornings – one near Portobello Road and one on Harrow Road – to give isolated people the chance to get out of the house and socialise. 

Our coffee mornings' involve groups of six to eight regulars who have a chat over tea and cake once a week in a local café to share stories with each other, meet new people and gain new friends. One of our attendees had this to say: 

“Coming to the meetings every Friday is something I really look forward to. Sometimes I can’t be bothered to get dressed and go out, but meeting everyone gives me incentive.”

We hope to provide other activities in the future including arts and crafts sessions.
