Thank you to Cheval Residences

Wednesday 23 July 2014

Cheval Residences, who provide luxury serviced apartments so that visiting business people can live like locals during their stay in London, recently raised over £1000 to support our work in local communities.

Cheval Residents just opened their brand new residence just minutes from the iconic South Kensington tube station, at Cheval Harrington Court. Staff at the apartments decided to use their initiative to help raise money for our work with local people affected by unemployment, ill health, social isolation and low incomes - they invited around 40 of their general and senior managers to pay a small fee and stay in the brand new residences to test the quality of them before guests arrived.

Director of Cheval Residences George Westwell said:

We were delighted to have this opportunity to raise just over £1,000 for this very worthwhile charity, working in our local community.

Director of the Octavia Foundation Reena Mukherji said:

We are very grateful to Cheval Residences for their fundraising efforts. It is great that a local company recognises the need to support their local community in this way. The funds that they have raised will help us to provide a wide range of services that connect local people with support and opportunities for positive personal change. They are helping us to transform lives.
