Great turnout for Story of QPR briefing

Thursday 5 September 2013
On the pitch!

20 local young people joined us today for a briefing about our exciting project, Story of QPR, with QPR in the Community Trust.

During the course of the day, guests were introduced to the work of both charities, the Octavia Foundation's previous youth media work and were given an exclusive tour of Loftus Road by ex-player Andrew Impey and Chief Executive of the QPR in the Community Trust, Andy Evans.

Our young volunteers also got to try their hand at film-making, with a interactive workshop from Mendez Media.

I'm delighted with the turn out that we've had and the day went really well. It was great to put faces to names and to meet some of our young volunteers for the first time. We're looking forward to our next session!
