Recognised for employment and training work

Tuesday 18 December 2012

The Octavia Foundation has been awarded Gold Status in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's Pathways to Work charter.

The award follows a process of assessment and an evidence review and recognises our commitment to working with the council and other community partners and organisations to supporting local residents back into work throughout the borough.

Our Future Foundations programme, launched in January 2012, is a free service open to residents and students aged 16 and over in Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Brent and Hammersmith and Fulham.

The programme can help local people to access training, volunteering and work opportunities that are relevant and helpful to them.  Future Foundations will offer advice and mentoring that includes help with writing your CV and cover letters and interview preparation and skills and we can also help to secure work experience or work trials, volunteering placements and apprenticeships with local organisations.

If you are a resident of Kensington and Chelsea, their Jobs and Training Guide is an excellent resource to help you in your search for employment or training. Read the guide here.
