Birth of Cool

The Website is live

The Birth of Cool is a creative response from local young artists to the culture and fashion boom along the Kings Road between the 1950's and the 1980's, preserving this rich and diverse heritage through a range of digital outcomes.

135 young people participated in creating 2 broadcast standard documentaries, 22 Oral Histories, an immersive performance at the Worlds End Estate, a digital fashion brand and a series of street style photography. Check it all out of the project website
