Providing vital support over the cold winter months
Christmas can be incredibly isolating for those who do not have friends or family to enjoy the season with. The Octavia Foundation is dedicated to providing vital support and companionship throughout the cold winter months.
To bring some festive cheer, we need your support to raise funds for the 8 social parties we’re holding for 250 local older people –and to keep our life-enhancing befriending service and our advice and support lines running to get help to those who need it most.
Your kindness could make all the difference.
Your donation could help in the following ways:
- £10 could cover the cost of tea and refreshments at a befriending visit
- £20 could provide christmas gifts for 3 residents of our care schemes
- £50 could provide food and refreshments at 10 befriending meetings over the winter period
- £250 could provide enriching entertainment like music, dancing and creative activities across one of our festive parties
