Overview

BASE

Base logoBASE is the Octavia Foundation's award-winning free cultural and creative club for young people aged between 7 and 21, in Pimlico.

The club is based in a fantastic building right on the River Thames and is a user-led space. Whilst the Octavia Foundation provides a range of activities for young people, the emphasis is on creating a user-curated programme of events. Previous sessions have included art workshops, dance classes, film screenings and music workshops.

The space is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, common room area and an office space that includes Apple computers with internet access and a number of creative packages.

Sessions take place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - the club is open for young people aged 13-21 on Mondays and Thursdays from 5-9pm and on Tuesday's for younger children aged 7-12 from 5-8pm. The Octavia Foundation reimburses travel costs and serve a tasty and nutritious hot meal at each session.
