Kensington Church Street
Nestled among the antique shops and art galleries of Kensington Church Street is a veritable Aladdin’s cave of designer vintage fashion finds. A stone’s throw from Kensington High Street in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the boutique setting is a popular destination for in the know fashionistas.
The boutique is laden with designer must haves from Comptoir des Cotonniers to Joseph, reflecting its well heeled west London clientele who value the community feel of the shop and donate generously. On our last visit we spotted a Gaultier dress, Balmain jacket and a Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress among others.
Men are also well catered for with heritage labels such as Barbour, Gieves and Hawkes, Turnbull and Asser and brogues by Loake and Churches. The shop deserves a special mention for its millinery section which boasts Ascot-worthy headgear for a fraction of the price!
