Gateways to Work
Helping with jobs and training
Gateways to Work is the Octavia Foundation’s employment and training initiative. The program provides direct support for unemployed Octavia tenants and local west London residents to find employment or training. Among the services we offer are CV and cover letter writing, mock interviews, job clubs and sourcing training.
Through the Gateways to Work programme, we have been particularly successful in sourcing a number of volunteering placements which have progressed into paid employment in roles ranging from administration to finance. Clients may also be able to secure financial assistance with travel, lunch and costs associated with purchasing equipment for further studies.
The Octavia Foundation are very proud of the achievements of this programme and the continuing difference that we are able to make in the lives of local people.
Please call employment advisor Wray Bennett on 020 8354-5576 for information or to book an appointment.
