Garden Guardians

Caring for the elderly and vulnerable

Garden Guardians is a free service, supported by Octavia Foundation and delivered by Sixty Plus and Age Concern Kensington and Chelsea for older tenants of Octavia Housing.

Working on a referrals basis, older or vulnerable tenants are provided with a free and regular gardening service to help them with garden maintenance.

The project includes clearing overgrown gardens, improving garden security, mowing lawns, weeding and pruning and advice on low maintenance gardening and tool adaptations.

The project helps to support the independence and dignity of our older residents and is staffed by volunteers.
