BASE
BASE is the Octavia Foundation's free cultural and creative club for young people aged between 13 and 21, in Pimlico.
The club is based in a fantastic building right on the River Thames and is a user-led space. Whilst the Octavia Foundation provides a range of activities for young people, the emphasis is on creating a user-curated programme of events. Previous sessions have included art workshops, dance classes, film screenings and music workshops.
The space is equipped with a fullly equipped kitchen, common room area and an office space that includes Apple computers with internet access and a number of creative packages.
Sessions take place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5.30pm - 9.30pm. The Octavia Foundation reimburses travel costs and serve a tasty and nutritious hot meal at each session.
