Improve your computer skills

Digital champion project

Does the thought of turning on a computer fill you with dread?  Would you know how to get online?  Surf the web?  Use Skype?  Are you feeling confused already?  Do you usually leave ‘modern technology’ to your children or grandchildren?

If you feel you could use some extra help to get online, then we are here to help!  Our digital project will pair you with one of our fully trained Digital Champions who will provide up to 10 hours of one to one support to help you with all aspects of using a computer and accessing the internet.

You will be able to learn the basics and more, in a secure and comfortable setting, putting you at ease and making you feel relaxed. You will soon realise that using a computer is not so scary!  We may also be able to help with access to a computer, to make your training and learning even easier.

This service is free of charge but due to funding restrictions you must live in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to use this service.

If you or someone you know that lives in RBKC could benefit from learning the basics or improving their computer skills for free then please:

  1. fill out this form to register your interest and
  2. email it to hayley.tripp@octaviafoundation.org.uk or
