New outreach and befriending service

The Octavia Foundation and Octavia Housing are delivering a new outreach and befriending service on behalf of the City of Westminster and NHS Westminster.
The outreach and befriending service is available to older or vulnerable adults that live in the borough of Westminster and are over the age of 50. The service is designed to encourage and support independence and to reduce isolation.
The outreach service work in partnership with other organisations in the community to provide older and vulnerable people with information and support to:
The befriending programme will match isolated or lonely adults with volunteer befrienders that have been carefully selected and recruited, police checked and trained to provide a good service.
The service is free, though there may be a cost for some associated activities.
We are particularly keen to help isolated older people in the Harrow Road and Queen's Park, Church Street and Regent's Park, Westbourne and Churchill wards.
