Future Foundations

Future Foundations is the Octavia Foundation's brand new employment and training programme, launched in January 2012 and modelled on our highly successful Gateways to Work programme, which ended in December 2011.

Future Foundations is a free service and open to residents and students over the age of 16 in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Brent and Hammersmith and Fulham.

We can help local people to access training, volunteering and work opportunities that are relevant and helpful to them.  Future Foundations will offer advice and mentoring that includes help with writing your CV and cover letters and interview preparation and skills and we can also help to secure work experience or work trials, volunteering placements and apprenticeships with local organisations. 

The programme is entirely flexible and responsive and our approach focuses on building relationships that will support people over long periods of time.
